Hello, I'm John Serda, previous owner of Serda's Coffee Co. and Serda Brewing here in Mobile,AL.

As the owner of a small business for over 14 years, I know how important advertising was to my business, but did it work? I had no idea if the people coming through my doors were coming in because of the ad I had on the radio, television, newspaper or that post on Facebook or Instagram. Then one day I kept noticing a bunch of people coming into my business playing a video game. That game was Pokemon Go and they were taking advantage of the gem right in front of my store. This got me thinking, “these people are only catching Pokemon, what if they could win free things like coffee, smoothies, food or merchandise? And that’s when I came up with EYOBi.

Here's how it works:

Players download the game in the I0S or Android app store.
Players start to build out their city in the game with the limited game money & resources everyone starts with.
To accelerate game play, unlock better resources and generate more game money. Players visit participating businesses like yours and check-in to unlock your building to put it in their city.
Your building generates more money and resources that players can then us to build even more.
Once the player unlocks your building, every subsequent time they visit and check-In, they get a gem that can be used to buy more assets In the game.
After multiple visits to your business, players can 'level up" which triggers a reward from your business that you can choose i.e. sticker, soda, coffee, discount, merch, etc. (You do not have to participate in the reward program).
Players can also purchase menu items (limit of 5) from your store in the game that can be physically redeemed in your store and In doing so, players get game money they can use to purchase more assets In the game. (You get the full purchase price for your item minus credit card fees)
