Hello, I’m John Serda. If you lived in Mobile, AL in 2016, and played Pokémon Go, you probably visited one of my businesses—Serda’s Coffee Co. or Serda Brewing—to take advantage of the nearby Pokémon gyms. I often dropped lures throughout the day to help you catch more Pokémon, creating a win-win situation: you enjoyed a safe and welcoming atmosphere while I sold more coffee and beer. This got me thinking: what if you could win coffee and beer while playing a video game? And that’s how EYOBi was born.
