Faq’s

Buffs are a gameplay element that makes a certain part of the game more powerful for a limited time while they’re active. There are 4 different kinds of buffs, meaning 4 different ways that certain parts of a player’s city can get more powerful. A buff needs to be activated to give it’s bonus (like boosting the city’s income to be 20% higher) and does so until it’s depleted, which happens after a set amount of time that is displayed when viewing a buff in the buff inventory.

Capsules are “boxes” that contain an assortment of randomized loot and can be opened to obtain the loot. Capsules are rewarded for Daily logins, doing quests and mostly for interacting with the business systems of the game. Loot from capsules is how players can unlock new buildings (which lets them customize their city but also boosts their income once they place new buildings in their city). There are 3 different rarities of capsules, common (grey), rare (blue) and legendary (orange). The higher the rarity of a capsule the more loot it contains and the higher quality the loot is.

Currently no, you cannot move any buildings after it’s placed in your city.

You unlock new buildings with building blueprints. Blueprints are obtained from opening capsules and leveling up business buildings. You can find your current blueprints in the blueprints overview (second button from the right in the bottom row).

(Building) Blueprints are used to unlock new buildings. There are different blueprints for the different building sets, so for example for unlocking new “Manhattan” themed buildings you’ll need “Manhattan” blueprints. There are also two kinds of wildcard blueprints, normal (rainbow) and legendary (golden). These can be used to craft any normal blueprint or legendary blueprint. Likewise any blueprint can be disenchanted into wildcard blueprints. This way if you don’t get the blueprint for the building set you want, you can disenchant the ones you have and craft blueprints for the sets you desire!

World Wonders are a special kind of commercial building. They can only be unlocked with legendary (golden) blueprints. Like other commercial buildings they can be upgraded for money and because of their unique nature they drive a lot of tourists to your city, generating tons of cash for you! Every World Wonder is a unique building and can only be placed once in your city, so be mindful where you want to put it.

“Promises” are a Quest-like game mechanic that occur when you unlock a new area in your city. When you unlock a new area you “promise” your citizens that you’ll develop this newly acquired area, tasking you to build a couple of normal & commercial buildings in the new area and on top of that reach a higher city-level in total. While the promise is going you can only place buildings in the promised area but placing buildings is on a discount, making it easier to fulfill the promise (one can think of it like subsidies for government projects). After you fulfill a promise you gain a permanent income bonus for your city as a reward.

While a promise is active its display is always on screen but the panel can be minimized/maximized by tapping it. After the promise is fulfilled the display is of course no longer on screen.

Yes, Eyobi is Free to Play! Eyobi offers in-game rewards for purchasing products of your favorite local business in the Eyobi App. This will not only grant you your purchased item, but additional in-game goods such as new buildings, gems or buffs that temporarily help you progress faster.

In Eyobi you will find a list of all participating Businesses under the business button in the build menu. If your favorite Business is not included, happily tell them about our App! Every suggestion helps to get new Partners signed up. You can also email us at [email protected] and we will reach out to them.

You can view all your coupons in the coupon overview (the button in the bottom right). If you click on a coupon you can view it’s details, redeem it or redeem it’s loyalty in-game reward.

A coupon can be redeemed by selecting it in the coupon overview (the button in the bottom right). The real-world reward of a coupon  (like a free coffee or a discount on a product) can only be redeemed in the corresponding business location at the specified address. Just show the coupon to an employee and redeem it by swiping the redeem slider to the right. A big green panel will appear, telling you and the business employee that you successfully redeemed the reward. The employee will take care of the rest!

Loyalty in-game rewards are extra in-game rewards (capsules and gems) you get when purchasing any coupon from any business. Loyalty in-game rewards can be viewed in your coupon overview (the button in the bottom right). While the real-world reward for a coupon can only be redeemed in the business you can redeem the loyalty in-game reward by yourself anywhere at any time! Simply swipe slider for the loyalty-rewards to the right and a big blue panel will appear, granting you your capsules and gems!

While roads are automatically placed whenever you build a building they can also be placed manually. You can find the roads under the decorations tab in the building menu.

Players can earn gems by:

  • Leveling up business buildings and claiming the level up rewards
  • Buying coupons and redeeming the loyalty in-game rewards
  • Daily Login rewards
  • Daily Quest rewards (available after finishing all the tutorial quests which go up to 8 I think)
  • Opening legendary (orange) capsules (which in turn can be rewarded/obtained by the aforementioned things)
